The Intern will work in the Chemical/Pharma/Oil and gas/Environmental industries.

Requirements

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited engineering program.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Passion for learning and making a meaningful contribution.
• Availability to work 15-20 hours/week during the academic year and full-time during breaks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a one-week onboarding program to understand GEA's business landscape and the scope of the Kytero Development project.
• Attend introductory sessions with various departments to gain a broad perspective of GEA's operations.
• Spend your second week shadowing experienced operations and engineering professionals to learn hands-on skills and industry best practices.
• Dedicate 20% of your time to conducting market research and preparing presentations, focusing on the Application Development projects.
• Lead a Business Enhancement or Lean Project under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, highlighting engineering's role in customer success.
• Take ownership of your assigned Pharma/Chem/Mining Development tasks, applying your skills to contribute to operational excellence.
