About The Position

Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for two Application Development Analysts or Seniors to join our Information Technology team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote. What does an Application Development Analyst do for us? Under general supervision, this individual provides analysis, design, development, and ongoing support for the implementation of custom applications and integrations. Primary responsibilities focus on application development using Microsoft's development stack including .NET, .NET Framework and .NET MAUI to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Development is focused on both internal and customer facing applications using ASP.NET, Entity Framework and Web APIs. Participates in problem analysis, solution development, action planning and implementation coordination with peer developers and technical system analysts. A Senior Application Development Analyst will also: Serve as technical expert and/or technical project lead/manager and may direct the work of other developers. Requirements

  • Application Development Analyst: Education/Experience: BS in Computer Science and 1 year of directly relevant experience and/or formal, targeted hands-on training OR 5 years of directly relevant experience and/or formal, targeted hands-on training
  • Senior Application Development Analyst: Education/Experience: BS in Computer Science and 3 years of directly relevant experience and/or formal, targeted hands-on training OR 7 years of directly relevant experience and/or formal, targeted hands-on training

Nice To Haves

  • Licenses & Certifications: Project Management and/or programming language certification desirable

Responsibilities
