About The Position

Charles Schwab Asset Management is responsible for managing the Investment and Asset Management businesses of Schwab. The Wealth Asset Management (WAM) Engineering team is part of the Schwab Technology Services (STS) organization and this opportunity is on the Alternatives Investments and Insurance & Annuities Team. The Software Developer and Engineer will be responsible for applying knowledge of data engineering fundamentals to independently implement operations for data pipelines and storage systems for projects and programs within the designated business area. The role includes applying quality assurance testing methodologies and tools to independently conduct testing for projects and programs, as well as managing requirements analysis, organization, and validation to meet current and future business needs. The position also involves monitoring and administering a secure IT environment, applying software development standards, and managing software release and deployment practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is essential to implement effective system design and architecture approaches.

Requirements

  • Educational experience performing development, testing, and release of code.
  • Educational knowledge of the Agile process.
  • Educational experience with GitHub CI/CD is a plus.
  • Educational experience with a coding language such as C#, DotNet, Angular, TypeScript, PCF, and MS SQL is a plus.
  • 3-6 months of Schwab domain technology experience as a current or recent contractor or employee.
