About The Position

GreenStone is seeking an Application Developer to join our Information Services team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and wants to contribute to the design, development, and support of enterprise applications that power our business. You will serve as a technical specialist across application development, database development, application security, and system support. Senior-level candidates will additionally provide leadership in design standards, code reviews, and team coordination. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 1+ years of software development experience.
Fundamental understanding of version control systems
Operating Systems: Windows Server and Windows Desktop environments

Web: IIS, .NET, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Database: SQL Server, stored procedures, complex SQL, SSIS

Responsibilities

Create technical design artifacts to guide custom application development.
Provide accurate time estimates for project tasks and deliverables.
Use version control tools for check-in/out, branching, merging, and tracking changes.
Adhere to GreenStone’s coding, database, deployment, web service, and architecture standards.
Perform full lifecycle development activities including algorithm design, coding, compiling, debugging, packaging, and deployment.
Conduct unit testing to validate functionality and ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
Follow departmental SOPs, including SDLC and case usage processes.
Report personal task status independently and during project meetings.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members as needed.
Track and understand project progress and dependencies.
Participate in software release activities including planning, installation, and on-call support.
Provide second-level support for troubleshooting incidents.
Execute recurring operational tasks such as data imports, script execution, and utility runs.
Deliver positive, professional customer service interactions.
