About The Position

VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Application Developers to join our dynamic and innovative team in Chantilly, VA. What will you do? Design, develop, test, and maintain complex applications, systems, and services supporting research and data collection activities across web and social media platforms Build, maintain, and document databases, AWS resources, and associated web applications in alignment with customer requirements Analyze, define, and validate local and enterprise-level information system requirements Assess, enhance, and modernize existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and stability Integrate new and existing software into enterprise networks and environments Perform system and application design, including development of capability prototypes Develop and implement operational information systems Test, debug, track, and resolve software defects and performance issues Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, application details, end-user instructions, and training materials Support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for databases and web applications Perform auditing and compliance activities related to applications and database environments Manage and track technical requirements as directed Participate in technical exchange meetings, architecture discussions, and design reviews

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Poly required.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Linux operating system, to include updating, configuring, and troubleshooting using SSH, RDP, and WinSCP.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS’s suite of services including VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, S3, EC2, and CloudWatch.
  • Demonstrated experience with Node.js.
  • Demonstrated experience with JSON and MongoDB.
  • Demonstrated experience with Express or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience with Angular, REACT, or Vue.js.
  • Demonstrated experience with Auditing, Accreditation, and Compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing MongoDB Data Lake in AWS.
