Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in Analysis, Design, Development and maintenance of Workday.
  • All experience and requirements may be gained concurrently after achievement of the degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provides application software development services.
  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
  • Codes, tests, debugs and documents software applications.
  • Analyzes requirements and tests and integrates application components.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
  • Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed and subsequent iterations using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
  • Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.
  • Maintains application support processes and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.
  • Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.
  • Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures.
  • Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution.
  • Escalates unresolved incidents.
  • Facilitates recovery following resolution of incidents.
  • Documents and closes resolved incidents according to agreed procedures.
  • Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services.
  • Detennines problem fixes/remedies.
  • Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
  • Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.
  • Delivers technical visualization of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers.
  • Translates logical designs into physical designs and produces detailed design documentation.
  • Maps work to user specification and removes errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes.
  • Defines the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers and produces software builds for loading onto the target environment.
  • Configures the hardware environment, produces integration test specifications and conducts tests, recording details of any failures and carrying out fault diagnosis.
  • Propose and design the environment architecture for Workday application.
  • Experienced with Integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors.
  • Experienced with Workday technologies, including Web Service AP ls, SOAP, REST, Cloud Connect, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XMUXSLT, and Workday Reports and Dashboards.
  • Conduct Technical training sessions for Client IT and support teams.
