About The Position

This exempt position will develop, test, implement, maintain and support internal and external Web applications. As a back-end developer, this individual will primarily develop APIs written in C# .NET and develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases. Essential Duties Development of in-house web-based applications employing C#. Server Administration IIS and Identity Server. Familiarity with Source Control systems such as Git. Develop full life cycle application documentation. Analysis and troubleshooting of current systems. Server Administration, IIS, Identity Server etc. Collaborate with other developers on long- and short-term projects. Design and develop MS SQL databases and by creating stored procedures, views, tables, and functions. Develop applications linking several disparate platforms/environments. Support business users and administrators in troubleshooting portal and public site issues as requested. This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Firm attorneys, clients and staff. Perform other related duties as needed and/or assigned.

Requirements

  • The Application Developer must have advanced knowledge of C# and API design, at least 3 years on job experience.
  • Must have excellent SQL skills, including relational database design.
  • Must have experience as the lead developer for at least 3 major projects.
  • Business process analysis, software design, requirements definition and documentation experience required.
  • The Application Developer must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be flexible with learning new technology.
  • Strong ability to work individually and in a team environment is required.
  • The candidate must have the ability to translate business requirements into an application technical design document, and model application architecture within the environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other development languages is a plus.
