Responsible for participating in relevant aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop highly scalable, distributed, compute intensive system. Perform design and code reviews. Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software, specifically in HR and Benefits Domain. Work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications. Troubleshooting issues and provide production support to clients and customers. Coordinates work teams and provide technical support to team members. Improve efficiency of Java development with process and tools. Increase and improve availability of system information via APIs. Interfaces with Product Owners to understand business requirements and quality requirements.

  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering disciplines, or related field plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; Spring Framework; Hibernate; SQL; Java Persistence API; Microservices; JavaScript; React; HTML 5; CSS3; Kafka; Junit; Splunk; Typescript; Microsoft Co-pilot; and Amazon Q.
