The anticipated salary range for this role is between $137,000.00 and $196,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to plan and execute production deployments of software, reports, and configuration changes.
  • Provide high-quality systems support to operations and finance teams, ensuring efficient and accurate usage of internally developed tools and reports.
  • Assist the Leasing Finance back-office team with configuration changes to the core lease/loan accounting system.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, adhering to project plans and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain tools to improve data quality across Leasing Finance systems and ensure accuracy in downstream data feeds and processes.
  • Respond promptly to data quality issues and reporting requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee support teams responding to day-to-day technical issues and manage the incident response to service outages.
  • Analyze impact of reported service issues and quickly develop remediation plans.
  • Implement deployment of application code changes and upgrades to both testing and production environments.
  • Create and manage Leasing/Lending application, maintenance scripts to ensure seamless operation of application, proactive issue identification and data extraction.
  • Strong experience in .NET Core / .NET Framework for backend development.
  • Proficient in Angular (v10+) for frontend development.
  • Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and work item tracking.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ, and RESTful APIs.
  • Exposure to Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure Storage is must.
  • Exposure to Front & back end architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and hands-on experience with ETL processes.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and VS Code.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with ReactJS and Python is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Azure Fundamentals and cloud-native development practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in .NET development with C#.
  • Experience in Lending and Leasing domain is required.
  • Prior exposure to ALFA systems is highly preferred.
