About The Position

The Application Developer position within the Academic Affairs agency in Norfolk, VA, is focused on developing and maintaining PL/SQL objects and Unix shell scripts to support student and advisor functionalities. Requirements

• Experience in developing PL/SQL objects.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting on Linux.
• Familiarity with SQL PLUS and RHEL servers.
• Knowledge of Banner systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data migration to cloud services.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and tools, specifically Informatica IICS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test PL/SQL objects such as Functions, Procedures, and Packages.
• Maintain PL/SQL web pages for student and advisor functionalities.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts on Linux to execute PL/SQL jobs and schedule using Cron jobs.
• Perform data loading and PL/SQL script testing using SQL PLUS on RHEL servers.
• Utilize Banner forms and tables to troubleshoot issues on student conditional accesses.
• Perform migration testing of on-premise Banner systems to Ellucian managed cloud services.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica IICS' Cloud Data Integration.
• Perform ETL integrations using IICS CDI between systems such as UCCM and Banner tables.
• Utilize Informatica's REST API v3 functionality to run taskflows based on Salesforce object triggers.
