As an Application Developer (SAP ABAP) at IBM Corporation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, and implementing solutions to meet business requirements while adhering to development standards and methodologies. You will develop code for SAP RICEFW in HANA Studio/Eclipse and SAP UI5 and Fiori application developments in Business Application Studio (BAS). Your role will also involve developing solutions interfacing RESTful web services (OData, JSON) and other data integrations like flat file over FTP and SQL database. You will perform code reviews with peers, plan and execute unit tests, and partner closely with the SAP Basis team and business analysts for implementations and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will participate in product roadmap and strategy definition, engage with partners to identify and validate requirements, and translate them into technical designs. You will be expected to deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment while adhering to SAP best practices and standards, maintaining a stable and scalable SAP environment. Supporting production system monitoring and resolving issues raised in the form of change requests and defects using ChaRM and JIRA will also be part of your responsibilities.
