About The Position

Application Developer, Lead The Opportunity: We are seeking an AI-Enabled Developer and Engineer to design and deliver enterprise and mission systems that leverage agentic AI workflows and AI-assisted development tools, with the engineer serving as the accountable human-in-the-loop. This role emphasizes building sof tware systems that orchestrate AI agents, tools, and workflows while ensuring correctness, security, governance, and operational reliability within regulated SDLC and DevSecOps environments. Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in sof tware engineering or systems development in a professional work environment
• Experience in an enterprise programming language such as Python or Java
• Experience developing AI-enabled applications using agentic patterns, orchestration frameworks, or tool-calling workflows
• Experience integrating AI-enabled systems into CI / CD pipelines and structured SDLC environments
• Knowledge of secure sof tware design, APIs, and distributed systems
• Ability to exercise judgment and accountability over AI and agent-driven behavior
• Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting federal government or other regulated programs
• Experience with MCP, tool-calling standards, or agent orchestration frameworks
• Experience implementing approval gates, observability, and audit logging for agent actions
• Knowledge of generative AI governance, risk management, or policy frameworks
