About The Position

THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION Primary Duties 1. Assists in the design and development and testing of software applications. Resolves day-to-day incidents to ensure the integrity of the services being provided. 2. Consume, transform and update data between two or more systems using Integration software. 3. Consults with business partners to create documentation relating to the program definition, development, business requirements. Documentation includes software objectives, deliverables, and end user specifications. 4. Writes, translates, and codes software scripts, programs and applications according to specifications and end user requirements. 5. Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement. Support in the smooth maintenance of the system 2 and provide data to the end users in a timely manner. 6. Prepares and writes reports for management and/or team members on the status of assignments. 7. Trains end users to operate new or modified programs. 8. Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of development efforts. 9. Works with external vendors to ensure efficient implementation of software products or systems. 10. Keeps abreast of new and changing technological advances in program languages, utilities, tools, and client/server technology to ensure achievement of ETL/Development of reports, so users can make proper decisions. 11. Follow the IT procedures and naming conventions guidance. Also provide proper documentation as required by IT standards.

Requirements

  • Over 4 years of experience
  • Strong PL/SQL development skills
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM/EPM/PPM
  • Techno-Functional Expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM/EPM/PPM: General Ledger (GL) – including FERC compliance Accounts Receivable (AR) Accounts Payable (AP) Cash Management Procurement Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Business or a closely related field and two years of experience in software programming.
  • Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external business partners in order to obtain and/or provide information on technical concepts.
  • Requires the ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages and simple statistical methods.
  • Requires a very high level of computer skills in order to use various software packages as well as a familiarity with hardware configuration.
  • Need to be proficient in MS Office Tools.
