About The Position

The Application Delivery Manager I at Zurich North America will oversee the management and delivery of applications, ensuring effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role involves prioritizing data and reporting requests, managing production issues, and leading Scrum/Kanban teams to fulfill commitments. The position is based in Schaumburg, IL, and operates on a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the IT area, OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the IT area, OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the IT area, AND 4 or more years maintaining IT hardware and software.
• Experience with IT architecture and infrastructure.

Nice To Haves

• Data management and data interrogation experience.
• Experience with SQL Server or another relational database.
• Strong SQL querying experience.
• Knowledge of ETL processes.
• Experience working in agile methodology.
• Experience working in the insurance industry.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize data and reporting requests from business stakeholders.
• Work directly with business stakeholders on production issues.
• Manage applications delivery, maintenance, and production.
• Manage code conflict within projects.
• Serve as Scrum/Kanban Master, facilitating and leading team resources to execute commitments.
• Manage vendor onshore and offshore resources.
