About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Application Architect ready to take us to the next level! We are looking for an Application Architect to be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. This position will be full-time and onsite in Tallahassee, FL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of programming/systems analysis experience
  • Experience working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
  • Experience in aligning technical solutions with business and IT strategies and complying with the Department's architectural standards
  • Experience in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget
  • Experience making recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
  • Experience participating in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations
  • Experience in systems analysis and design, and have a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Able to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of five years of Java experience

Responsibilities
