The Application and Licensing Coordinator (ALC) at Omni Family Health plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's medical department by managing the initiation and renewal of various state, federal, and local applications and licenses. This position ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and contributes to the overall quality improvement initiatives of the organization.

  • Initiates, completes, and tracks the processing of new and existing licenses for clinics and pharmacies.
  • Processes applications for state programs such as Family PACT and Every Women Counts.
  • Presents and reviews applications with leadership for final approval prior to submission.
  • Ensures timely processing and tracking of all applications and licenses within an electronic software system.
  • Maintains accurate electronic files for easy follow-up and compliance review.
  • Tracks and records to ensure no gaps in care for application processing.
  • Processes requests for approval and purchase requisitions for payment.
  • Works with leadership to develop and implement procedures.
  • Audits clinic files and spreadsheets for accuracy and prepares reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations and all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • High School Diploma or GED certification.
  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or related field.
  • Three years of experience in healthcare administration, licensing, and/or credentialing, preferably in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with computers and new technology.
  • Experience with electronic health records and related systems such as NextGen and Practice Management System (PMS).
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) activities.
  • Competitive salary ranging from $66,560 to $83,200 per year.
