About The Position

Responsible for conducting comprehensive application system analysis and design, including requirements gathering, specification development, system configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation. Additionally, this role provides application support, troubleshooting, user training, and reporting, with a primary focus on the EPIC Willow module, Omnicell, ScriptPro, and other applications maintained by the Willow team. Onsite is preferred, hybrid or remote work option is available. Candidates residing in the following states may be considered for remote work: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia Conducts analysis of application design including but not limited to planning implementations and maximizing application benefits. Develops working knowledge of assigned applications and related development and maintenance tools. Assists with resolution of issues, tracks issues and provides updates to peers, leadership and clients with supervision. Supports assigned tasks/projects and meets deadlines with supervision. Adheres to departmental policies and procedures. Assists with requirements gathering. Develops an understanding of client business needs, organizational structure and supported applications with a high degree of supervision. Develops reference materials (status reports, documentation, etc.) for supported applications and related technologies with supervision. Participates in department initiatives and processes. Facilitates a positive and collaborative work environment. Adheres to the application change management process to include timely reporting of all pertinent change information, effective discussion of the changes, internal and external communications, contingency planning, support of the change event and post-change reporting, as appropriate. Participates in an on-call rotation (both during business hours and after hours/weekends/holidays) with supervision. Serves as a resource for applications/systems support. Assists with implementation of new applications and Develops supporting documentation. Will have contact with both external and internal customers and expected to work in a professional manner. The duties performed by this position may have an organization wide effect and allow access to confidential information related to both patients and staff. Incumbents of this position will be required to make timely, effective decisions using independent judgment and discretion within the appropriate guidelines defined by leadership. Must be able to work in a matrixed environment and understand Bimodal work principles. Works in either office environment or remotely with frequent use of workstations, personal computers, tablets, and mobile devices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Valid Virginia drivers' license required.
  • Must be a self-initiated team player that can work under little supervision, with strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Must facilitate a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Must be flexible and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
  • Primary business hours Monday-Friday including some weekends, holidays.
  • Will require after-hours on-call coverage
  • Occasional travel required.
