About The Position

The position involves advanced application system analysis and design, focusing on requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation of systems. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience required.
  • Valid Virginia drivers' license required.
  • Vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in RTLS (Real Time Location Services) and Duress highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced application system analysis and design including requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation of systems.
  • Provide application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting activities.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between TSG groups, clients, and vendors.
  • Mentor other staff members in the department.
  • Conduct analysis of application design and plan implementations to maximize application benefits.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of assigned applications and related tools.
  • Assist with resolution of complex issues and track issues for updates to senior staff and clients.
  • Independently manage assigned projects and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for assigned applications.
  • Plan and conduct system requirements definition sessions.
  • Coordinate and conduct detailed design sessions based on client business needs and application functionality.
  • Lead large projects and assign tasks to supporting Application Analysts and other staff.
  • Develop reference materials for training of other staff.
  • Adhere to the application change management process.
