About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance our Epic scheduling and patient access workflows across the revenue cycle. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient scheduling, accurate registration, and streamlined patient access operations. The ideal candidate brings strong Epic expertise, deep understanding of revenue cycle processes, and the ability to translate operational needs into scalable system solutions.

Requirements

  • Epic Cadence certification
  • Experience supporting Epic Cadence functionality.
  • 2–4 years of experience supporting healthcare IT systems (Epic preferred).
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows such as registration, scheduling, and patient access.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multi-entity or Community Connect Epic environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, test, and maintain Epic Cadence functionality.
  • Support scheduling and registration workflows across Epic modules including Cadence, Prelude, and Resolute.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve scheduling and registration errors and system issues.
  • Maintain configurations for appointment types, resources, and scheduling rules.
  • Partner with registration, scheduling, and revenue cycle teams to enhance scheduling workflows.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve accuracy.
  • Analyze scheduling data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all Cadence-related system issues.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with Epic and operational teams as needed.
  • Support break/fix requests and manage service tickets related to scheduling workflows.
  • Participate in system upgrades, optimization initiatives, and implementation of new Epic functionality.
  • Assist in workflow design, documentation, and testing for scheduling-related projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader revenue cycle initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Cadence workflows and system configuration.
  • Provide training, guidance, and best practices to operational teams.
  • Support ongoing knowledge transfer within the team.
