About The Position

Performs skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilating, refrigeration and steam distribution equipment systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, kitchen appliances such as but not limited to, Ice Machines, water fountains, coffee machines, pizza ovens, kettles and steamers.

Requirements

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Must be Universal EPA 608 certified.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Rate information using personal judgment or standards that can be measured or checked.
• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Perform a variety of duties which may change often.
• Perform arithmetical operations rapidly and accurately.
• See detail in objects or drawings as 3-dimensional objects.
• Work at heights without fear.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs heating, ventilating, refrigeration and steam distribution equipment and systems.
• install and repair Ice Machines, water fountains, coffee machines, pizza ovens, kettles and steamers
• Operates a variety of equipment as needed to perform work.
• Installs, maintains and repairs electronic devices related to HVAC Control.
• Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follows diagrams or blueprints.
• Load, transport and unload material, tools, equipment and supplies.
• Maintains tools and equipment.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. - Performs other duties as required.
• Diagnose appliance repair issue(s)
• Quote repair(s) and any necessary part(s) to order
• Order any necessary parts for appliance(s)
• Perform routine maintenance on various appliances to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve appliance issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service provided.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repairs, maintenance, and costs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure safe and effective repairs.
• Keep up to date with the latest technology and repair techniques through continuous education and training.
