About The Position

APPLIANCE REPAIR TECHNICIAN - Solar Refrigeration & Appliance Service, Inc., is currently expanding & hiring technicians for the repair of appliances in customer's homes. We repair all major home appliances including washers, dryers, stoves, microwave ovens, dishwashers, trash compactors, garbage disposers, refrigerators. This position requires superior customer service skills and the ability to perform quality appliance repair in a timely manner. We provide uniforms, laptops, cell phone, specialized tools, company vehicle, and training. Must be able to work as a team member to provide courteous and knowledgeable service and maintain truck stock inventory as determined by company guidelines. If the technician resides in a remote area(not within local distance of main office), technician must be able to receive truck stock inventory at home. There is absolutely no weekend work required in this position. As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work. You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too. Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
