About The Position

Diamond Factory Service Comes to New Hampshire. $30 to $35/hr Potential for an experienced tech is $60,000 to $90,000. We are looking for an experienced refrigeration techs experienced in sealed systems along with other appliance repair experience in cooking dishwasher's washers and dryers, in NH We are a Whirlpool exclusive service provider and only work on their manufactured brands. We are located in MA and service both MA and NH. We do not micro-manage our techs, so we are looking for self-motivated individuals. If you have a knack for troubleshooting, are able to manage time to effectively meet goals and you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers you will fit right in. Our ownership group has vast appliance service experience and were previous techs. We understand what techs need and want. Needs to be personable and able to work with customers in their home. Technical background and aptitude. Know how to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Ability to learn new skills. Self-starter and good work ethic is a must. Must pass background, driving and drug screening. EPA certified. As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work. You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too. Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Flexible and variable hours
• Needs to be personable and able to work with customers in their home
• Technical background and aptitude
• Know how to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Ability to learn new skills
• Self-starter and good work ethic is a must
• Must pass background, driving and drug screening
• EPA certified

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home
• Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
