About the position
The Appliance Installer at Christie's Appliance is responsible for the professional installation of custom and built-in appliances for customers. This role involves loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and materials accurately and timely, ensuring that appliances are installed according to manufacturer specifications and are fully functional. The position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to interact courteously with various stakeholders, including builders and designers.
Responsibilities
- Professionally install custom and built-in appliances for customers.
- Load, unload, and deliver supplies and materials to customers in an accurate and timely manner.
- Interact expertly and courteously with builders, designers, and on-site customers.
- Install dishwashers, wine coolers, OTR microwaves, wall ovens, cooktops, and other built-in appliances efficiently.
- Observe and test the operation of appliances and make initial installation adjustments accordingly.
- Level appliances, adjust doors, and connect water lines to water pipes using plumbing and hand tools.
- Ensure installed appliances are damage-free, accurately installed, and fully functioning.
- Attend company-paid installation training seminars and certifications to stay updated on product changes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of built-in appliance installation experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage priorities and workflow.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to excellence.
- Strong customer service skills.
