About The Position

Hoffmann, recognized as one of St. Louis' Best Places to Work in multiple years, is seeking an Appliance Installer to join our growing team in St. Louis, MO. Over the past eight years, we have expanded from a small family business of 50 employees to a multi-market organization with over 400 members. As an Appliance Installer, you will be responsible for delivering and installing various household appliances, ensuring a clean and organized job site, and collaborating with customer experience coordinators and dispatchers to guarantee the success of each service call.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in appliance field
• Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, confident manner throughout the entire service
• Ability to adjust communications to provide the best customer experience possible
• Ability to create detailed job notes in the customer's account for future reference
• Ability to both teach and learn by sharing thoughts/experiences with coworkers
• Willingness to try new ideas and recommend process improvements to your manager
• Frequent communication with dispatchers regarding job status
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ability to work safely and ensure coworkers are working safely.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and installing appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc. to our customers.
• Cutting of counter tops and cabinets (excluding granite).
• Observe and test the operation of the installed appliances and make any initial installation adjustments as needed.
• Connecting water and gas lines and always double-checking after installation or removal for any gas or water leaks.
• Dismantling and reassembling appliances and equipment.
