About The Position

As part of the AppleCare Service Operations team, you will have the opportunity to lead and oversee a range of assignments within our service, repair, and logistics process. This role is crucial in guiding and coordinating the daily activities of team members in Service Warehouse Operations, which includes test and repair, inventory control, data entry, and shipping and receiving. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring flexibility and adaptability to succeed. You will be responsible for ensuring that all new and existing employees are trained and equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their roles effectively. In this position, you will work closely with the Service Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that team members adhere to required procedures and processes. You will provide objective performance data related to safety, training, quality audits, and productivity. Your responsibilities will include identifying and recommending product and process changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, monitoring daily performance metrics, and driving productivity standards to meet production objectives. You will also escalate functional and process failures to the appropriate support groups and supervisors, and provide daily metrics to track yield, quality, and productivity, using data to facilitate continuous improvement on the line. Additionally, you will implement continuous improvement activities, including Lean operations and 5S methodologies. In the absence of supervisors, you may provide functional supervision. Collaboration with other Apple groups, including Finance, Planning, AppleCare, and Engineering, will also be a key part of your role. Flexibility to work swing shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday, is required, along with the ability to move to other shifts based on business needs. Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment, background check, and drug screen is also necessary.
