As an Appian Solution Architect at Guidehouse, you will play a pivotal role in leading digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients You will leverage your deep expertise in the Appian platform to architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that address complex business challenges You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Appian-based business process automation solutions, including requirements gathering, architecture planning, and hands-on development across Appian Cloud and on-premises environments Translate business needs into actionable Appian solutions, integrating with third-party systems (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, RPA, cloud services like AWS/Azure) and ensuring compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor, guiding project teams and clients through platform decisions, solution design, and implementation strategies Develop and present solution architectures, technical roadmaps, and migration plans to business and technical leadership, articulating value and risk mitigation strategies Mentor developers and junior architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the organization Stay current with Appian product updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends to proactively recommend enhancements, new accelerators, and innovative approaches to clients Drive Agile delivery practices, participate in sprint planning, and oversee successful deployments and post-launch support to ensure customer satisfaction and solution sustainability Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices documentation for the Appian practice Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities, participating in proposal creation, and presenting solutions to prospective clients
