About The Position

Print Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student worker to manage apparel production while supporting front desk operations. This role’s primary responsibility is apparel production. However, apparel work will not always fill the full 19 hours. During downtime, the student worker is expected to actively assist at the front desk to fulfill their scheduled hours. This position requires someone who can take ownership of apparel production and remain productive by supporting team operations when production demand is low.

Requirements

  • Students may only have 5 open job applications at a time.
  • Suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all in-house apparel production using heat press equipment
  • Prepare designs and ensure all items are print-ready
  • Perform quality checks on all finished products
  • Track and maintain apparel inventory
  • Communicate with customers regarding order details, approvals, and timelines
  • Coordinate outsourced orders (embroidery and screen printing)
  • Ensure all outsourced work meets quality and deadline expectations
  • Develop accurate pricing for apparel orders, including materials, labor, and margins
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all customers, ensuring professional and helpful experience
  • Collect and confirm all order details (quantities, sizes, design specs, deadlines, and special instructions)
  • Enter and process job orders accurately to ensure production has complete and correct information
  • Communicate directly with the production team to clarify details, resolve issues, and prevent errors
  • Monitor order progress and follow up with customers on approvals, updates, and pickups
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
