About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Technical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fashion design and technical specifications, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed designs. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a solid understanding of garment construction, ensuring that products meet both aesthetic and functional standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design teams to create technical sketches and specifications for garments.
• Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite to illustrate designs accurately.
• Develop and maintain CAD drawings for production use.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to color theory principles and brand guidelines.
• Conduct fittings and provide constructive feedback on garment construction and fit.
• Assist in the selection of fabrics, trims, and other materials for production.
• Communicate effectively with manufacturers to ensure that technical specifications are understood and met.
• Stay updated on industry trends, fashion retail standards, and styling techniques.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and Browzwear.
• Strong understanding of garment construction techniques and sewing skills.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and color theory.
• Experience in fashion retail or styling is preferred.
• Ability to illustrate concepts clearly for production teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for fashion and a keen eye for design trends.
