Requirements

  • Registered in a program or college for Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science or related field with a graduation date between December 2026 and Spring/Summer 2027.
  • Candidates must be able to present a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Basic knowledge of the development process from inception through production, including but not limited to pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials, and machinery.
  • Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write product specs and advanced construction instructions.
  • Ability to use Adobe Illustrator and exposure to Apparel CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex/Browzwear/CLO3D) highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in the fit and construction from initial concept through to commercialization and production for assigned styles.
  • Help in the creation and revision of the Tech Pack for assigned styles.
  • Ensure all appropriate development documentation is maintained including product specs and prototype notes.
  • Track and facilitate prototyping for styles; identifying and addressing key issues and challenges in construction/manufacturing.
  • Schedule fit models and attend fit sessions to take notes as needed.
  • Receive, track, and manage samples, as well as organize and maintain the sample closet.
  • Order samples including wear test and size set garments.
  • Build toolboxes for cross-categorical standardization in both digital and physical formats.
  • Create, edit, and update specifications and measurements in PCX.
  • Collaborate with partnering organizations and international vendors.
