About The Position

Goodwill is hiring full-time retail associates in Alliance, Ohio, to sort, hang, and tag quality apparel and domestic donations, ensuring quality standards for soft-line departments. The role also involves upholding customer service standards by greeting and thanking customers and donors, according to agency policies and procedures. Responsibilities

Stay knowledgeable of brand names, current and vintage items, fashion trends, and price points for apparel and domestic categories.
Sorts apparel into salable and salvage categories.
Provides quality assurance by checking for tears, stains, wetness, smell, soiled, broken zippers, and missing buttons. Items must be flaw-free.
Hangs and tags quality donations quickly, according to agency standards, while meeting or exceeding individual production targets.
Always maintain the processing area in a neat and clean condition.
The station should always be ready for the next shift.
