About The Position

The position involves hanging pre-sorted, donated clothing to be placed on the sales floor in a retail store and donation center. The individual will perform various duties including placing clothing from a pre-sorted bin onto hangers to meet established quotas, hanging clothing on racks for transport to the sales floor while keeping similar types grouped together, and using the correct color rotation system. The role also includes counting pieces of clothing hung and completing a daily report reflecting totals, maintaining and cleaning the work area, and reporting any known or suspected security issues to management. Additionally, the individual may serve as a back-up to the Donation Processor, Sorter, and Cashier as needed, and perform other job-related duties as assigned by store management.

Responsibilities

• Places clothing from a pre-sorted bin of textiles on hangers to meet established quotas.
• Hangs clothing on racks for transporting to the sales floor, keeping similar types of clothing grouped together and using the correct color rotation system.
• Places correct color rotation system on hangers.
• Counts pieces of clothing hung and completes daily report reflecting totals.
• Places clothing on sales floor racks and pulls clothing from sales floor racks to make space as needed.
• Maintains and cleans work area, along with following SOP guidelines for work area.
• Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the Store Manager or other members of management.
• Serves as back-up to the Donation Processor, Sorter, and Cashier as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by any member of store management.
