About The Position

The Apparel/Clerk position is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, and monitoring quality assurance standards. The role also involves demonstrating the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska.
