About The Position

As the Senior Inventory Planner for WHOOP's Apparel & Accessories department, you will own forecasting, inventory strategy, and buy planning across a diverse and fast-growing product portfolio. You'll partner closely with Product Marketing, Finance & Supply Chain to ensure optimal inventory positioning for new launches, core programs, and seasonal collections. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise with a strategic mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory or demand planning within a consumer goods, apparel, or accessories business.
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-category portfolios and influencing business decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with a strong grasp of retail math and forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and planning or analytics platforms; familiarity with AI forecasting tools a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to partner effectively across Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Based in Boston, MA, or willing to relocate to WHOOP's headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting, demand planning, and inventory strategy across the A&A portfolio to achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align inventory plans with marketing calendars, launch timelines, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Develop data-driven buy strategies that balance product availability, inventory health, and financial goals across core and seasonal assortments.
  • Analyze inventory positions and SKU performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; recommend and execute corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in Open-to-Buy (OTB) discussions with FP&A, delivering insights on inventory positions, on-order, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on lead times, MOQs, and production schedules to ensure supply readiness and alignment to demand.
  • Optimize replenishment and distribution strategies to ensure products are in the right place at the right time to meet customer demand.
  • Drive process improvement and scalability through enhanced reporting, planning tools, and cross-functional communication.
