About The Position
Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. The Google Home App is the central hub for Google's smart home ecosystem, enabling users to seamlessly control and manage a wide range of devices, including Google Nest products and compatible third-party devices. From cameras and thermostats to Wi-Fi, smart displays, and more, the Home App delivers intuitive, integrated experiences. Our team focuses specifically on the camera pillar, supporting both Nest and partner cameras. This area is a major driver of user engagement and business, and we are committed to continuous innovation, particularly through the integration of AI technologies like Gemini.
