About The Position

The APP Ambulatory Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility position at Yale New Haven Health is a full-time role located at West Campus Drive, Orange, CT. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • 1+ years of APP Experience Preferred.
  • Experience in Women's Health desirable.
  • Active, unrestricted CT medical license or in process of obtaining.
  • ACLS/BLS (as required) Certification.
  • DEA License.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the disease process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Work in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols, and clinical pathways, and may provide autonomous team-based care.
  • Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, review/order diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results, formulate and manage patient treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on care and available resources, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including admitting instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans.
  • Provide psychosocial support to patients, their family members, and significant others in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.
