About The Position

HCA Florida JFK Main Campus ED is currently seeking a Full-time APP (NP/PA) to join our team at JFK Medical Center and practice along the Florida Atlantic Coast in Palm Beach County. The 78-bed emergency department rooms are equipped with the most advanced resources for examining, stabilizing, treating, and monitoring patients. There is also an adjacent 12-bed fast-track area and a 6-bed behavioral health unit. The hospital is one of three hospitals in the county designated as a Cardiac Alert Receiving Facility and has a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and Certified Chest Pain Center. The hospital also promotes teaching opportunities with medical, surgical, and EM residency rotation throughout the department. ED Features: 88,000 annual patient visits 78-bed ED; 12 fast track Physician coverage – 70 hours/day MLP coverage – 30 hours/day flex day/nights Admission rate – 45% Peds volume – less than 10% Charting system – Meditech PDOC
