About The Position

APP ( NP or PA) Family & Internal Medicine - Martinsville, VA APP ( NP or PA) opportunity with Carilion Clinic Family & Internal Medicine - Martinsville. Hours are Monday- Friday, 8-5. As such, PAs and NPs who have worked within Family and Community Medicine for at least 1 year are expected and encouraged to precept PA and NP students from our partnering programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
• Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers.
• Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
