Position Highlights: Provide direct patient care and formulate plan of care in collaboration with Neonatologist, Nursing Staff and the multidisciplinary team Attendance of high & Low risk deliveries as needed, Attend & Provide Care to Sick Newborns and Premature Infants, Resuscitate & Stabilize Patients Resident teaching Opportunities Provide Consultation to Administration, Nursing and Medical Staff Night coverage for neonatologists Procedures such as; chest tubes, intubations, PICC lines, umbilical lines, and more Arrange Admissions and discharges at the direction of the collaborating physician, institute emergency measures and emergency treatment and perform hospital rounds Stabilize and Transport high risk neonates if necessary between facilities in the Bronson county regions Experience preferred, but new grads will be considered Requirements include MSN and NCC certification, along with strong communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to function independently and autonomously About Bronson Children's Hospital: Bronson Children's Hospital is a designated children's hospital recognized by NACHRI and offers a full range of pediatric subspecialties.
