About The Position

Bronson LakeView Family Care - Blue Star is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their established practice. Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of Michigan.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Medical degree and 2 years of direct or intern experience required.
• Current DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients.
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection.
• Determine necessary referrals based on patient examinations and needs.
• Prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients.
• Order studies, tests, and ancillary services as needed.
• Document all services in patient medical records.
• Consult with the Medical Director and other professionals regarding patient care.
• Participate in process improvement and continuing education programs.
• Oversee mid-level medical staff and nursing clinical staff as assigned.
• Assist in resolving patient complaints and inquiries.
