About The Position

About the position: 7on/7off-7a-7p, or 6a-6p depending on hospital location Open and Closed ICU depending on location No procedures required Will travel to assigned location Full Benefits Annual CME Allowance FREE TUITION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE FOR DEPENDAN

Responsibilities

• APP will provide comprehensive care in a medical practice setting in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Coordinate education needs of patients and families.
• Facilitate and coordinate discharge planning.
• Communicate with surgeons and referring providers about care rendered and/or management plan.
• Submit timely and accurate billing for services rendered.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff and other members of the health care team.
• Actively participate in conferences and presentations as well as other staff education including, but not limited to, quality improvement initiatives as directed.
• Participate in clinical data extraction.
• Maintain currency with all required compliance training programs.
• Maintain commitment to professional growth and competency as a certified APP.
