About The Position

Starting May 19th, 2025 through August 8th, 2025 (12 weeks) with the potential to extend the internship to part-time during the academic year based on performance. At AppHatchery, we believe that great digital products start with a deep understanding of the people who use them. As an intern, you'll immerse yourself in user-centered design (UCD) practices, shaping mobile applications that support healthcare and research. You'll have the opportunity to explore, experiment, and iterate, contributing to a highly collaborative team that values insight-driven design, seamless usability, and real-world impact. Our recent projects include a mobile app that supports low-English proficiency patients in hospital settings, a voice-based research platform for collecting ecological momentary assessments, and tools designed to enhance patient-provider communication. These applications are already in real-world use, with some deployed across hospital networks and others driving clinical and behavioral health research.
