About The Position

App Dev and Support Engineer will oversee daily operations to ensure products and processes meet established standards. This role leads a team of inspectors or analysts, coordinates development plans, reviews documentation, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor monitors compliance with regulatory requirements, identifies quality issues, and collaborates with cross functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential. Overview The App Dev and Support Engineer are responsible for managing software development and quality control activities within a department or production environment. They ensure that all products, services, and processes adhere to internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering, or relevant field.
  • 4 plus years combined experience in application development, quality control, or operations support.
  • 2 plus years in a supervisor role.
  • Technical Skills include interface design and development, analysis, SDLC methodologies and tools, and data analysis is crucial, general Microsoft tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities are essential for managing teams and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and evaluate staff to maintain high performance and accuracy.
  • Develop and enforce quality procedures, inspection criteria, and test protocols.
  • Conduct audits, analyze data, and prepare quality reports for management.
  • Investigate nonconformities and oversee corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop analysts responsible for reviewing claims, transactions, and operational workflows.
  • Monitor daily claim processing activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls through testing.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality failures and oversee corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Maintain QA documentation, scoring guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, reduce risk, and improve customer experience.
