The APP Manager provides operational and clinical leadership for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and, where applicable, associated nursing and ancillary staff. In partnership with Nursing and Clinical Care Services leadership and divisional leaders, this role oversees the professional practice, development, and performance of APPs, including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Certified Nurse Midwives. This leader ensures the highest standards of clinical practice while advancing evidence-based care, operational efficiency, and exceptional patient outcomes. The APP Manager plays a key role in supporting care delivery across specialized units, Special Delivery Unit (SDU) and the Center for Fetal Diagnosis & Treatment Unit (CFDT), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care for medically complex patients. Responsibilities include fostering APP clinical competency, supporting role development, and implementing systems that enhance patient care delivery, productivity, and team collaboration. The APP Manager also promotes professional growth through mentorship, continuing education, and engagement in quality improvement, research, and scholarly activities that advance the discipline and specialty practice areas.
