The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our facility. This role involves operating material handling equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proven experience as a material handler or similar role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles, either manually or using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and checking for damage
• Organize and store materials in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy access
• Prepare materials for shipment, including wrapping, labeling, and securing items
• Maintain accurate inventory records, both manually and electronically
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
• Perform all other duties as assigned
