About The Position

The team is looking preferably for an Experienced Critical Care APN/PA or Fellowship Trained APP to support the Critical Care team at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL! Will manage multiple critical care sub-specialties such as neuro critical care, trauma and cardiovascular patients. St. Joseph Medical Center is the Regional ICU Hub receiving a large amount of patient transfers. This role will allow for growth, learning and the ability to expand your skill-set to become a better provider. This role is all inpatient. This is a variable shift PRN position, 12-hour shifts and coverage as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed to provide advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois or physician assistant services as per the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
• BLS/ALS Certified.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in critical care is preferred; however, new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple critical care sub-specialties including neuro critical care, trauma, and cardiovascular patients.
• Provide inpatient care as part of the Critical Care team.
• Participate in patient transfers to the Regional ICU Hub.
