About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Apigee Architect to lead the design and architecture of enterprise API management solutions using the Apigee platform. This role is responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high-performance API architectures that align with business and digital transformation goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years as Apigee Architect with 12+ years overall experience.
Deep expertise in Apigee Edge / Apigee X, proxies, policies, analytics, and developer portal.
Strong knowledge of REST, microservices, and integration patterns.
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Apigee Certification (ACE) preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end API management solutions using Apigee.
Define enterprise API standards, governance, and best practices.
Design RESTful APIs and API specifications.
Lead Apigee platform configuration including proxies, policies, security, and traffic management.
Integrate Apigee with backend systems, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
Implement advanced API security (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, threat protection).
Ensure API performance optimization through caching, rate limiting, and analytics.
Establish API lifecycle management, versioning, and compliance processes.
Drive CI/CD and DevOps integration for API deployments.
Mentor Apigee leads and developers and provide architectural guidance.
