About The Position

The NDT Advanced Services API Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections in accordance with API standards on designated equipment. The role involves recommending and approving repairs, certifying compliance, and ensuring a safe working environment. The inspector will perform both internal and external inspections, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school or other related training preferred.
• Previous industry-related experience preferred.
• Must possess valid API certification.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and legal regulations.
• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment to maintain mechanical integrity.
• Recommend and approve repairs, and perform visual inspections of completed repair work.
• Assist in scheduling activities related to inspections.
• Write detailed inspection and turnaround reports, maintaining documentation of inspection activities.
• Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Communicate with customers and other parties to benefit the professional reputation of the company.
• Complete all required training, including tests, within company guidelines.
• Perform necessary filing of customer and company job-related forms and paperwork.
