About The Position

The API Threading Operator at Tenaris is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of API threading on pipes or couplings, ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures. This role requires working in a rotating shift environment and involves various machine operations and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in machine operation, specifically lathe or PMC operation.
• Knowledge of API threading standards and procedures.
• Ability to perform machine maintenance and adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Executes change over and set up of the machine.
• Performs lathe or PMC operation.
• Performs API or lower quality threads on pipes or couplings.
• Carries out end deburring.
• Performs chips cleaning.
• Changes machine tools.
• Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (cooling fluid, machine adjustments, etc.).
• Updates information in the tracking systems.
