About The Position

The Product Owner relies on experience in Financial Services, specifically financial technical experience in Asset Management or Wealth Management, as well as the following: working on enterprise scale API Integrations; API design, management and support using the APIGEE platform and the JSON data interchange format; working with the API tools Postman & Ready API; monitoring multiple APIGEE components Cassandra, OpenLDAP, PostgreSQL, Qpidd, ZooKeeper, Management Server, Message Processor, Edge UI etc.,; data structure and content for the accounting systems Investran, Geneva, Investier and AT Web for both Hedge & Private Equity clients; Apigee’s Developer Portal integration with Apigee Edge server; Swagger documentation; ETL (extract, Transform, and Load); Agile and iterative development methodologies; software development management/tracking tools, specifically with Jira, Microsoft TFS, Rally; and writing SQL queries and statements for backend/database testing. The Product Owner works cross functionally with multiple teams, collaborates with key stakeholders in the product road map, and focuses on the future strategic vision of SEI’s API Platform; serves as the subject matter expert, providing knowledge and expertise for API product development and client integrations, including API consumers with the best possible experience accessing the API platform; designing and delivering, during client onboarding, a full API integration based on an understanding each client’s use cases and technology capabilities; ensuring delivery of API integrations and providing an ongoing model for management of those integrations; assisting in sales/service functions by ensuring feedback received from clients and prospects is considered in the product development cycle; growing SEI’s end to end client integration capabilities – ranging from file transfer to API integrations to Snowflake solutions, leveraging technical and architecture experience; and creating and delivering communications throughout the development cycle to stakeholders at all levels, including release planning content, feature/story-level acceptance criteria new/modified functionality overviews, user guides, and release notes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus five years of post-baccalaureate experience in Financial Services, specifically financial technical experience in Asset Management or Wealth Management.
  • five (5) years of experience with each of the following: working on enterprise scale API Integrations; API design, management and support using the APIGEE platform and the JSON data interchange format; working with the API tools Postman & Ready API; monitoring multiple APIGEE components Cassandra, OpenLDAP, PostgreSQL, Qpidd, ZooKeeper, Management Server, Message Processor, Edge UI etc.; data structure and content for the accounting systems Investran, Geneva, Investier and AT Web for both Hedge & Private Equity clients; Apigee’s Developer Portal integration with Apigee Edge server; Swagger documentation; ETL (extract, Transform, and Load); Agile and iterative development methodologies; software development management/tracking tools, specifically with Jira, Microsoft TFS, Rally; and writing SQL queries and statements for backend/database testing.
