About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced API 510 / 570 inspector for a full-time position in the Plaquemine, LA area. This role will perform duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with referencing code. The position is non-exempt and reports to a Level 2 Inspector, with close supervision assigned duties according to specific procedures and frequent checks on work. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must have TWIC card.
• API 510/570 Certification.
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in performing duties associated with NDE of materials in accordance with reference code.
• Assist with nondestructive testing equipment set-up.
• Assist in calibrating nondestructive testing equipment.
• Assist in determining testing criteria in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
